Hallie played softball for the first time this year. It was so much fun. She was on a team with several of her cousins & friends. Shane & Hadley (Jake's cousins) were their coaches & they did such a good job with all of these rowdy little girls!

There was one night that Jake was working late & wasn't able to make it to Hallie's game, so he told me when we were on our way there not to let Hallie play first base. I asked why & he said because she doesn't pay attention to the ball because she's too busy visiting with the girls from the other team. I guess the week before anytime a girl from the other team would get on first base Hallie would ask her her name & if she wanted to be friends & then just continue to chit chat (I have no idea where she gets that from...haha)! She's definitely our little social bug!

So it was really sad that Hazen wasn't in any sports yet this year, technichally he isn't old enough yet, but I think he would've been ready. After each game we would let him put on a helmet & hit the ball off of the Tee. He really thought he was on the team & whenever we talked about going to Hallie's T-ball games, he would say, "me too mom, I'm playing T-ball too". We will have a lot of fun with him next year!
Hallie learned how to ride her bike with no training wheels this spring!!! I came home from work one night & there she was riding her bike all over the driveway with no training wheels. Of course daddy was the trainer, he has way more patients for that kind of stuff than mommy!! Our house isn't really bike riding friendly, we live on a very busy road with no sidewalks, so the following day I took the kids to one of Herriman's bike trails & let Hallie spread her wings & she did awesome!!
